Parmeniskosund Philistos S.d. Philistos und LykaithosS.d. Parmeniskos stellten den Antrag: DaNikagoras S.d. Theudoros undLykaithos S.d. Leukippos, die freiwilligMonatspriester gewesen sind,die Opfer für den Zeus ausführtenund das Opfer für Zeuserneuerten, und den Empfangder Demengenossen und alleranderen (Koer) ausrichteten in einer den Götternwürdigen Weise und es dabei in nichts an Eifer undErgebenheit fehlen ließen; - damit nun auchdie künftig gewählten Monatspriester sich nochviel bereitwilliger erzeigen,wenn sie das Wohlwollen der Demengenossensehen, möge man beschließen: dass man Nikagorasund Lykaithos belobige wegen ihresVerhaltens und ihrer Frömmigkeit, diesie gegenüber den Göttern und denDemengenossen zeigten, und sie bekränzeim Wert von zehn Goldstücken; dieSchatzmeister sollen aufschreiben diesenBeschluss auf eine steinerne Stele undweihen bei dem Altardes Zeus; die Kosten fürdie Stele sollen die Schatzmeistererstatten.

Olive Olivecrown crownUnder monarchos Nikophron, monthArtamitios, it was decreed by the associationof those who gather around ZeusHyetios, Charmippos son of Parmeniskosand Philistos son of Philistos and Lykaithosson of Parmeniskos proposed: inasmuchas Nikagoras son of Theudoros andLykaithos son of Leukippos, who servedvoluntarily as monthly priests,carried out the rituals forZeus and renewed thesacrifice of Zeus and conductedthe reception of the demesmen andall other (Koans) worthily of thegods, omitting nothing of zeal anddevotion; so that therefore thoseelected hereafter as monthly priestsmay devote themselves far more eagerly,knowing the goodwill of the demesemen,it is decreed: to praise Nikagorasand Lykaithos for theirexcellence and the piety thatthey have towards the gods and thedemesmen and to crown themin the value of ten gold staters; thetreasurers are to inscribe thisdecree on a stone stele anderect it beside the altarof Zeus; the cost incurredfor the stele is to be paidby the treasurers.
